Stanley Hudson

Stanley Hudson sells paper at Dunder Mifflin Scranton and would like everyone to leave him alone about it. He does crossword puzzles at his desk, tunes out Michael's antics with weary contempt, and counts down the days to retirement. Married, gruff, allergic to office nonsense, he treats the workplace as something to be endured, not enjoyed.

Baker's genius is stillness — Stanley's deadpan disdain lands harder than any punchline because he refuses to perform for the camera the way his coworkers do. That resistance becomes the joke: a man who wants no part of the mockumentary trapped inside one, occasionally erupting (a scream, a fire, a pretzel day) with startling, gleeful violence.
