Speaker Voice is not a person but a presence: the flat, mechanical intonation that pipes out of intercoms, vending machines, and public announcement systems across the Futurama universe. It has no name, no face, and no stake in the plot — only the job of telling Planet Express, and the audience, what's happening next.

Tress MacNeille, already doing a dozen voices on this show, treats the announcer as its own tiny performance — deadpan, bureaucratic, weirdly funny in its indifference to the chaos it's narrating. It's a running joke that never needs a punchline, just the right flat cadence dropped into the middle of disaster.
