Space Beth

Space Beth is the version of Beth Smith who never stayed on Earth to raise a family — she took off across the galaxy instead, and it shows. Confident, armed, and utterly unbothered, she strolls into her old life like she owns it, treating danger as a minor inconvenience and family as a curiosity she's dropping in on.

Sarah Chalke gets to play Beth without the domestic exhaustion weighing her down, and the swagger she brings is genuinely fun — a woman who's clearly spent years being the smartest, deadliest person in every room she walks into. It's a sly bit of writing: same character, same voice, completely different posture, and it makes you wonder which Beth was always in there.
