Snake

Snake turns up as one of the many odd faces populating Futurama's crowded future — a minor figure glimpsed rather than dwelt on, part of the show's habit of filling its background with strange, fully-voiced characters who exist for a joke or a scene before vanishing back into the crowd.

The character works because Phil LaMarr, one of animation's great utility players, gives even a passing role a distinct voice and rhythm. Futurama thrives on this density of small, oddly specific characters, and LaMarr's ability to make a few lines feel lived-in is exactly why the show's world never feels thin.
