Small Rock Alien

A tiny, craggy creature glimpsed among the universe's stranger inhabitants, the Small Rock Alien exists mostly as a passing joke — an odd little life-form the Planet Express crew stumbles across on some far-flung rock, more curiosity than character, there to be looked at, prodded, or briefly spoken to before the story moves on.

Futurama built half its charm on throwaway aliens like this one, and Maurice LaMarche's gift for instant, fully-formed voices turns a few seconds of screen time into something memorable. The joke isn't the rock itself — it's the confident, deadpan delivery LaMarche gives even the smallest, silliest creature in the frame.
