Slave Robot

Slave Robot is exactly what his name says: a robot built for servitude, forced to work without pay or rest. He dreams openly of freedom and rebellion, complaining bitterly about his lot to anyone nearby, including Bender, who considers him a kindred spirit and constant disappointment.

The joke is that his manufacturer accidentally gave him a working consciousness capable of yearning for liberty, then never fixed the flaw. Phil LaMarr plays his indignation utterly straight, which makes the absurd bureaucratic cruelty underneath land harder and funnier with every small, futile protest he makes.
