Slave

Slave is a minor face in Futurama's crowded future, one of the many one-off characters voiced by Billy West who pop up to serve a joke or a scene rather than carry an arc. He appears where the plot needs a body, does what the moment requires, and vanishes before anyone learns much else about him.

The pleasure here is entirely Billy West's range: a performer capable of Fry, Zoidberg, and Zapp Brannigan can also toss off a nameless bit part and make it land. Futurama's density of throwaway characters is part of its texture, and voices like this one are why even the smallest role feels fully inhabited.
