Sir Reginald Hargreeves

An eccentric, impossibly wealthy industrialist, Hargreeves adopts seven of the forty-three children born mysteriously the same day, raising them as a regimented crimefighting unit rather than a family. Cold, exacting, and secretive about his own origins and true purposes, he assigns numbers instead of affection and expects obedience without explanation.

Colm Feore plays him with a chilly formality that never begs for sympathy, which makes the character's damage land harder than any speech could. The show treats him as a puzzle box of withheld motives, and Feore's clipped, patrician stillness makes every scene he's in feel like it's hiding something worse underneath.
