Siobhan Sheehan

Siobhan is Mare's teenage daughter, sharp-tongued and impatient with the chaos of her mother's house. She's counting down to college, out of state and out of Easttown, with a girlfriend and a band and a low tolerance for her family's dysfunction — though she never quite manages to leave any of it behind.

Angourie Rice plays the exhaustion of being the most functional person in a falling-apart household, and lets Siobhan's snark curdle into real hurt without ever softening her into a saint. She's a believable teenager first, a plot device never, which is rarer than it should be.
