Sihtric

Sihtric enters as a thrall in Uhtred's household, a scrawny, shifty young Dane with a thief's instincts and no status to protect. He lies easily, steals when he can, and attaches himself to whoever seems most likely to keep him alive. Freedom, not honor, is what he's after at first.

Fedaravičius plays the early cunning without winking at the audience, so when Sihtric's loyalty to Uhtred hardens into something real, it never feels like a writer's shortcut. The show lets him earn his place a small humiliation at a time, and the actor's watchful, wounded stillness makes every scrap of trust he's given land.
