Sigtryggr

Sigtryggr is a young Dane on the make, quick-tongued and quick with a blade, more interested in gold and glory than in loyalty to any one lord. He turns up among the Viking raiders threatening Wessex, cocky and undaunted by bigger names, sizing up every room for an advantage he can seize.

The show lets him be genuinely funny and genuinely dangerous in the same breath, and Eysteinn Sigurðarson plays that combination with a loose, grinning confidence that never quite tips into cartoon villainy. He arrives as comic relief with teeth, and the performance keeps you guessing whether the charm is real or just another weapon.
