Shougo Amakusa in Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan (1996), played by Junichi Inoue.
Originally born as Mutō Shōgo, he abandoned his family name to take up the title of "Amakusa Shiro", a Christian samurai who fought against the government centuries ago, to claim vengeance against who wronged his family and fellow Christians.
