Shoto Todoroki

Shoto Todoroki arrives at U.A. High School as a prodigy with ice on one side of his body and fire simmering, unused, on the other. Cool, blunt, and openly contemptuous of his own fire power, he keeps classmates at arm's length, fixated on proving himself without relying on the half of his quirk he refuses to touch.

His stillness is the hook: Yûki Kaji plays him clipped and controlled, so the cracks — a flash of temper, a flinch at his own name — land hard. The premise turns a cool-kid rival archetype into something rawer, a boy at war with half his own body, and the show trusts silence to carry it.
