Shigeo Kageyama

Shigeo Kageyama, known as Mob, is a quiet middle-school boy with catastrophic psychic powers he'd rather not use. He works part-time for a self-styled psychic exorcist, joins the body improvement club to become someone ordinary, and mostly just wants to impress a girl and keep his temper from boiling over.

Mob's power is enormous but his ambition is small and human, and that gap is the whole joke and the whole heart of the show. Setsuo Itou plays him flat and soft-spoken even when the animation explodes around him, which makes his rare cracks of emotion land like earthquakes.
