Sheldon

Sheldon turns up in the crowded margins of New New York, one more face in Futurama's teeming background cast of aliens, robots, and bystanders who drift through Planet Express's chaos. He speaks little, reacts more, and exists mostly to fill out the joke happening around him.

The pleasure here is Billy West's range rather than Sheldon's arc — West voices half the cast of this show, and a small part like this lets his gift for quick, distinct vocal shading show through even in a throwaway line, adding texture to Futurama's stuffed, funny universe.
