Shazam

Shazam turns up as one of the many odd, one-note faces that populate Futurama's future New New York — a small role voiced by David Herman, who lends the show several of its background eccentrics. He exists mostly at the edges of the main plot, a quick bit of color rather than a character the show lingers on.

Futurama's genius is often in these throwaway parts: a single line delivered with total commitment can be funnier than a running arc.
