Shannon Ross works as a manager at Handy, the convenience store supply company, where she oversees Kimchee and gradually becomes tangled in the Kim family's orbit. She's earnest, a little awkward, and disarmingly honest, prone to oversharing and social missteps she doesn't quite notice she's making.

Nicole Power plays the cringe of Shannon's overshares without ever making her pathetic — she commits fully to the character's lack of a filter, so each awkward pause lands as funny rather than embarrassing to watch. The writing lets her be competent at her job and hopeless at everything else, which keeps her endearing instead of just goofy.
