Shae

A sellsword's camp follower who becomes handmaid and lover to Tyrion Lannister, Shae enters the story sharp-tongued, practical, and unimpressed by rank. She wants safety and freedom in a world built to deny her both, and she's canny enough to know exactly what she's risking by loving a Lannister.

Kekilli plays her without a trace of the demure, giving Shae a bluntness and wit that cuts through the show's pageantry of lords and titles. The writing lets her be genuinely funny and genuinely tender with Tyrion, which makes her more than the 'whore' other characters keep calling her — a person insisting on being seen as one.
