Shady Nurse

The Shady Nurse turns up wherever Futurama needs a hospital scene to feel a little less trustworthy than it should. Ostensibly there to help, she moves through the ward with the brisk indifference of someone running a hustle on the side, more interested in getting through the shift than in anyone's actual wellbeing.

It's a small, throwaway role, but John DiMaggio — better known as Bender's growl — gives her just enough gravel and disinterest to make a single scene land. The joke is entirely in the voice: authority with no warmth behind it, which is funnier than any line she's given.
