Sewer Mailman

Down in the flooded tunnels beneath New New York, the Sewer Mailman rows his little boat through the muck, delivering letters nobody else will touch. He's cheerful about a job that would break most people, chatting away as he navigates sludge and darkness like it's just another postal route.

He's a one-joke gag stretched into something oddly endearing: total contentment in the worst possible workplace. Billy West plays him with the same chipper, unbothered warmth he gives half the cast, which is exactly what makes the character land — sincerity applied to absurdity, no wink required.
