Servilia of the Junii

Servilia is a Roman aristocrat of ancient, dwindling fortune, mother to Brutus and long the secret lover of Julius Caesar. She moves through the city's drawing rooms with icy composure, trading in influence and old family pride, using her intimacy with Caesar to shore up position for herself and her son.
