Sergeant #2

Sergeant #2 is exactly what the rank suggests: a background military figure barking orders somewhere in the chain of command, present for a scene or two rather than the story itself. He does his job, keeps things moving, and gets out of the way.

Futurama's gift is that even its throwaway ranks get a distinct bark and comic timing, and David Herman brings the same deadpan gruffness he lends to several of the show's minor voices. It's a small, efficient bit of world-building rather than a character built to be remembered.
