Ser Jorah Mormont

An exiled knight of the North serving Daenerys Targaryen across the Narrow Sea, Jorah presents himself as a loyal advisor steeped in Westerosi lore and battlefield experience. Quiet, watchful, and a little world-weary, he guides his young queen through the customs of the Dothraki and seems to want nothing more than to see her safely enthroned.

Iain Glen plays Jorah with a courtly reserve that hints at something unspoken beneath his usefulness — devotion that looks like duty. The writing gives him divided loyalties from the start, and Glen's careful stillness, the way his eyes linger a beat too long on Daenerys, makes you wonder what he isn't saying.
