Scott Frost

Scott Frost in The Leftovers (2014), played by Charlie Carver.

Scott is one of Jill Garvey's restless teenage friends in Mapleton, drifting through a town gutted by the Sudden Departure. He fills the numbness with dares and stunts, provoking the silent Guilty Remnant and testing how far recklessness can go. He wants to feel something real, even if it hurts.

Carver plays Scott with a jittery, almost gleeful nihilism that captures a specific strain of post-apocalyptic teenage boredom — kids who inherited a trauma too big to name, so they turn it into a game. He's unsettling precisely because he seems so normal, a bored kid escalating for lack of anything else to do.

Scott Frost is Adam Frost's twin brother, who both seem largely unbothered by what happened three years ago — or maybe they’d just rather get high and play ping pong than think about it.
