Schlump

Schlump slips through Futurama's crowded background as one of the show's countless one-scene oddities — a nameless-seeming face given a name and a voice, dropped into New New York's chaos to deliver a line or two before vanishing back into the crowd of aliens, robots and bureaucrats that fills every episode.

The character barely needs to exist on the page; what makes him land is Maurice LaMarche pouring his enormous vocal range into a throwaway role, the same instinct that turns Futurama's margins into some of its funniest real estate. It's a reminder that in this show, no voice is ever really minor.
