Schlomo

Schlomo drifts through Futurama's crowd scenes as one of New New York's many background faces, popping up in bars, offices, and city streets with the occasional line or reaction shot. He is not central to any plot; he exists in the margins, part of the show's teeming, joke-stuffed universe.

Futurama earns rewatches partly because of characters exactly like this one — blink-and-you-miss-it faces who get a single funny beat and vanish. Maurice LaMarche, already juggling several bigger roles in the show, gives Schlomo just enough personality in a line or two to reward the viewer who's paying close attention.
