Sarah Walker

Sarah Walker is the eldest of the Walker siblings, a mother juggling her family's demands with her role at the family produce business. Steady and dutiful, she's the one who holds things together, or tries to, even as her father's death and her siblings' chaos threaten to pull everything apart.

Rachel Griffiths plays Sarah as the responsible one without ever making her dull, finding the exhaustion and quiet resentment underneath the competence. The writing gives her real stakes at work and at home, and Griffiths makes her frustration and love for her impossible family feel entirely lived-in.
