Sandy Langbourne

Sandy Langbourne moves in Richard Roper's orbit, one of the smooth, monied Englishmen who keep the great man's business humming without ever quite naming what that business is. He drinks well, dresses well, and treats the whole arrangement as a permanent house party — charming, watchful, and never entirely to be trusted.

Alistair Petrie plays him as the perfect specimen of upper-class rot: affable, faintly bored, dangerous only because he's never had to try. The performance finds comedy in his entitlement without ever letting you forget he's complicit, which is exactly the tightrope this world of glossy villains needs someone to walk.
