Sandy

Sandy passes through Futurama as one of the smaller faces in New New York's crowded future, the kind of character who shows up to serve a scene rather than carry an arc. Whatever the moment calls for, she meets it briskly, with little fuss and no wasted screen time.

The character works because Tress MacNeille is one of animation's great utility players, able to drop a fully formed voice into a single scene and make it land. Even in a small role, that craft gives Sandy a specific, funny texture rather than generic filler.
