Sam Axe

Sam Axe is a retired Navy SEAL who trades favors and free meals for information around Miami, sliding into Michael Westen's orbit as backup, fixer, and connoisseur of any beer someone else is buying. Easygoing and shameless about mooching, he still shows up fast and armed when a job turns dangerous.

Bruce Campbell brings his signature square-jawed comic timing to a guy who could easily be just muscle, turning Sam into the show's release valve — a man who treats mortal danger with the same relaxed grin he gives a free mojito. The writing lets him be both punchline and reliable gun hand, and Campbell sells both halves without strain.
