Ryuuko Matoi

Ryuuko Matoi arrives at Honnouji Academy carrying half a pair of giant scissors and a single question: who killed her father? Angry, foul-mouthed, and quick to swing a blade first, she has no patience for the school's uniformed hierarchy of Life Fibers and social rank — until a sailor-suited talking uniform named Senketsu changes her fight entirely.

Ami Koshimizu plays her fury completely straight even as the show around her goes gleefully unhinged, which is exactly why it lands — a girl grieving her father, embarrassed by her own super-powered outfit, screaming through absurd escalation with total sincerity. The show mocks her; she never lets it make her a joke.
