Ryan Sinclair

Ryan Sinclair is a young man in Sheffield struggling with dyspraxia, working a warehouse job he's not suited for, and trying to hold together a fractured family, particularly his bond with his nan. When a strange woman falls into his life through a mysterious pod, he's thrust into an adventure he never sought.

Tosin Cole plays Ryan with an easy, unforced warmth that grounds the show's cosmic chaos in something recognisably human. The writing lets his dyspraxia matter without making it a gimmick, and his grief and loyalty toward his family give him a steady emotional core that anchors the newer, stranger worlds around him.
