Roz Doyle

Roz Doyle produces Frasier's radio show at KACL, and she's the one who actually keeps the operation running while the on-air talent indulges his neuroses. Sharp, blunt, and unapologetically fond of dating around, she trades barbs with Frasier through the studio glass and refuses to be intimidated by his snobbery or his family's antics.

Peri Gilpin gives Roz a dry, unbothered delivery that cuts through Frasier's pomposity without ever feeling mean. The writing lets her be smart, sexually confident, and professionally competent all at once, rare for a sitcom in that era, and her friendship with Frasier has real affection underneath the constant needling.
