Ronald "Ron" Johnson

Ron Johnson is a Hillman College student with a gift for shortcuts, always chasing an angle that lets him skip the work and still land on top. Sharp-tongued and a little vain, he treats hustling as a form of art and friendship as something to needle affectionately, especially with roommate Dwayne Wayne.

Darryl M. Bell plays the scheme-of-the-week con man with such easy comic rhythm that Ron never curdles into simply lazy or selfish — there's real warmth under the bravado. He's the friend who mocks you and shows up for you in the same breath, and that balance is what makes the jokes land.
