Rodriguez Robot

Rodriguez is one of the countless background robots crowding the streets and workplaces of New New York, a minor figure who pops up doing ordinary jobs with an exaggeratedly thick accent. He's not central to any plot — just a face (and voice) glimpsed among the crowd, there to add texture and a quick laugh.

He works because Futurama treats even its throwaway robots as fully realized citizens with personality, and Maurice LaMarche commits completely to the joke, giving Rodriguez a booming, theatrical delivery that turns a few seconds of screen time into something memorable. It's a small showcase for LaMarche's range and the show's generosity toward its background cast.
