Rock Alien

A rock-solid presence in the Futurama universe, quite literally: an alien made of stone who turns up as part of the show's parade of strange lifeforms populating the galaxy. He exists mostly to be looked at, prodded, and reacted to by the Planet Express crew, embodying the show's gift for treating the utterly bizarre as mundane.

Futurama's genius is often in its background details, and a character built entirely out of rock is a perfect example: a sight gag with a voice attached. David Herman, already doing heavy lifting elsewhere in the cast, gives even a novelty alien like this a flat, deadpan delivery that fits the show's dry comic universe.
