Robotic Judge

Presiding in the courtrooms of New New York, this robotic judge exists purely to render verdicts with total mechanical indifference to human sense or fairness. It applies the letter of absurd future law without hesitation, doesn't editorialize, and treats every case, however ridiculous, with the same flat procedural certainty.

The joke is entirely in the contrast between the character's rigid bureaucratic solemnity and the lunacy of the cases in front of it. Phil LaMarr plays it dead straight, no camp, no wink, which is exactly what makes the absurdity land — a small, efficient piece of background machinery in a world that runs on nonsense.
