Robot Stripper

A background fixture of the robot strip clubs Bender frequents in New New York's seedier corners, she exists mostly as scenery for one of Futurama's running jokes about robot vice. She's part of the show's throwaway world-building — a glimpse of robot nightlife rather than a character with her own arc.

She works because Futurama commits so fully to the bit: if humans have strip clubs, robots need their own grimy equivalent, complete with magnetic poles and chrome. Tress MacNeille, doing what she does best in small doses, gives even a one-line background gag a distinct comic texture, part of the show's gift for treating absurd premises with total deadpan sincerity.
