Robot Guards

They stand at the doors of prisons, courtrooms, and bureaucratic nightmares across the galaxy, weapons drawn, expressions blank. Whatever institution needs enforcing, a robot guard is there to enforce it — bluntly, unimaginatively, and with total indifference to the absurdity of the situation unfolding in front of them.

John DiMaggio gives them the same flat, put-upon monotone no matter how bizarre the order they're carrying out, which is exactly the joke: institutional violence delivered in the voice of someone who'd rather be doing literally anything else. They're a running sight gag that never needs setup, just a doorway and a line to deliver.
