Robot God

Encountered adrift in deep space, Robot God is a vast, ancient machine intelligence who has watched over the universe for eons, speaking in calm, riddling pronouncements. He appears to a lost, lonely Bender and offers not answers but parables, more interested in mystery than in fixing anything.

The joke and the sincerity arrive in the same breath: a robot deity dispensing genuine wisdom about faith and interference, voiced by Phil LaMarr with an unhurried, priestly warmth that never winks at the audience. Futurama earns real tenderness by trusting the bit completely instead of undercutting it.
