Robot Foreman

He runs the floor at a robot assembly plant, barking orders at the line with the weary authority of a man who has seen every shortcut and refuses to tolerate one more. Gruff, practical, and entirely unimpressed by nonsense, he treats his job as the only thing standing between order and chaos.

John DiMaggio, already the voice of Bender, brings the same gravelly bark to a completely different kind of robot: not a schemer but a company man, all clipped authority and blue-collar exasperation. The joke is in the contrast — the show trusts you to recognize the voice and enjoy watching it play it straight.
