Robot Eskimo

A robot Eskimo turns up as one of the countless background citizens populating Futurama's robot society, glimpsed briefly amid the show's parade of throwaway inhabitants. Bundled against cold that a machine presumably doesn't feel, it goes about whatever small task the scene requires with the flat, matter-of-fact demeanor typical of the show's incidental robots.

The joke is entirely in the concept: a robot built to endure Arctic conditions it has no biological need to endure, existing purely because Futurama's world-building thrives on absurd specificity. Tress MacNeille, one of the show's great utility voices, gives it just enough deadpan presence to sell the sight gag without overplaying it.
