Robot Elder #1 sits among the ruling council on Chapek 9, the robot-only world Fry and friends stumble onto. Stern, ceremonial, and deeply suspicious of organic life, he presides over solemn robot customs with total conviction, treating even the silliest edicts as sacred law.

Billy West gives him the gravelly, self-important cadence of a small-town bureaucrat who thinks he's Moses, and the joke is that nobody around him ever questions it. It's a tiny role, but it typifies Futurama's gift for making background robots feel like they have whole absurd civilizations of their own.
