Robot Crowd

Robot Crowd is exactly what the name suggests: one of the nameless mechanical bystanders filling out New New York's streets, bars, and riots. Voiced with gruff, put-upon energy, this is the sound of the city's robot population grumbling, cheering, or complaining in the background while the actual plot happens elsewhere.

The joke is in the credit itself — John DiMaggio, already doing heavy lifting as Bender, also supplies the anonymous robotic murmur of the crowd, a bit of vocal-cast efficiency that becomes its own running gag. It's a small reminder of how densely Futurama built its world using the same handful of overworked voices.
