Maurice LaMarche's voice work carries the character rather than any single storyline — his delivery is big, theatrical, and precise, giving even a background robot a distinct rhythm. Futurama thrives on that kind of texture: minor mechanical citizens who sound fully formed the instant they open their mouths.
