Robert "The Badger" Adelman

Robert Adelman, known to everyone as "The Badger," is a defense attorney drawn into the murder case that consumes the Fraser family. He arrives with the manner of a man who has seen every kind of scandal before, calm and unhurried, sizing up the wreckage with the flat curiosity of someone paid to find the angle no one else has.

Douglas Hodge plays him with a dry, unbothered composure that cuts against the show's hothouse hysteria — while everyone around him unravels in silk and grief, the Badger stays procedural, almost bored, which makes him oddly reassuring. It's a small role, but Hodge uses restraint as its own kind of charisma.
