Ritsu Kageyama

Shigeo Kageyama's younger brother is a top student and student council candidate, bright and well-liked, chafing at living in the shadow of a brother he considers unremarkable. He secretly envies Mob's psychic powers, believing abilities like that would finally make him special, and starts digging for a way to get some of his own.

He's the show's clean rebuttal to the idea that power fixes anything: a kid with every ordinary advantage who still aches for something extraordinary. Irino plays his politeness as a thin lid over real desperation, so when that need for power curdles it feels earned rather than villainous, and his arc becomes a mirror held up to Mob's own restraint.
