Rikie

Rikie moves through the fringes of Mugen, Jin, and Fuu's journey, one of the many faces the trio encounters as they wander a stylized Edo-era Japan chasing rumor and survival. He carries himself with the practical wariness of someone shaped by a hard, transient world, more interested in getting by than in grand ideals.

Fumihiko Tachiki brings a grounded, weathered texture to a character who exists at the edges of a bigger story, the kind of voice work that makes a brief encounter feel lived-in rather than disposable. Samurai Champloo thrives on these passing figures, and Tachiki's delivery gives Rikie just enough gravity to linger after the scene ends.
