Recruitment Officer

He shows up wherever Futurama needs someone selling a war nobody's thought through, all slick pitch and shining teeth, promising glory and benefits to anyone dumb or broke enough to sign. He wants recruits, fast, and doesn't much care what happens to them after the ink dries.

He's a one-scene type elevated by Maurice LaMarche's booming, used-car-salesman bravado, which makes the character's cheerful indifference to human cost land as satire rather than cruelty. It's a small, disposable role that still manages to skewer military recruitment pitches with real precision.
