Rand al'Thor

Rand is a sheepherder in the Two Rivers, a quiet young man tangled up with the girl he loves and unsure of his place in a village too small for what's coming. When Trollocs attack and an Aes Sedai arrives naming him and his friends as possibly central to prophecy, he wants none of it — only to protect the people he knows and keep his ordinary life intact.

Stradowski plays the reluctance as real weight rather than false modesty, letting Rand's fear of what he might become read on his face before the story ever confirms it. The show gives him an impossible burden early, and he sells the cost of carrying it — decency straining against the certainty that something in him is dangerous.
